How many people have thought about the times we are facing? What are you doing to be prepared? What steps are you taking to help out your community?
These are things that we really need to be asking ourselves these days. There is going to be a pretty big rough patch we are facing in the near future. This is something that is going to affect everyone, and I would have to say mostly in a negative way.
So let’s go over a few things I think you should do to get ready, in the just in case column.
Food Storage- This is essential that we have at least one month worth of food, if not longer.
Take a firearms course- Anyone who is former military, or police could tell you how important it is to maintain a strong knowledge of how to properly utilize your firearm in self defense.
Evacuation Plan- You should have a plan in place to get out of major city centers if possible. Most violence (riots, looting, etc.) happens in the big cities. You need to have a plan on how to get you and your family out. This includes meet up places, etc.
Educated yourself- Education is going to be one of the biggest tools you will have to help you on your way. Trades and knowledge will help you survive by providing service in exchange for goods.
This is but a small list of things to do, but they are very important. Rate yourself on the level of preparedness you have, and see what you can do to improve. If you have something you would like to add to my list, or others I have posted, please feel free to do so.
Part of this is to help educate people, and not everyone knows where to turn or what to do. Any help of any form to get people ready is always helpful.
