Executive Orders

Good afternoon.

I was noticing more and more Presidential Executive Orders.  One of the lines I noticed in the Executive Orders was “..by the power granted me as President in the Constitution…”

There is no provision, and I mean NO PROVISION for him to do this in the Constitution. Article II of the Constitution lays out the powers the President has.  In Section 2 it gives the President the ability to become the Commander-in-Chief of the military.  It allows the President the power to pardon on cases except impeachment. Make treatise (with Congressional approval), appoint embassadors public ministers and consuls (with Congressional oversight/approval), nominate judges (voted by the Senate), fill vacancies during Congressional recess, and deliver a State of the Union.  He also can sign a bill into law.

That is it.  That is all that is mentioned for the Presidential powers.  This man, along with other Presidents, have taken things too far.  May as well be an edict of the King. That’s all I have to say about that.

God Bless.
